The Power Driven Machined Stepped 3rd/Direct Reaction Plate allows for more third-gear direct clutches. Required to fit (6) GPZ clutches in 47RH or 47RE drum and up to (7) GPZ clutches in 48RE drum.

Note: Some early 47RH and 47RE 3rd/direct drums have a taller aluminum apply piston and will require a new thin .062" snap ring to ensure that adequate clutch clearance is maintained. A minimum of .012" per clutch and a maximum of .020" per clutch is recommended for most applications.
