The Adams Driveshaft Extreme Duty Series Front 1310 CV Driveshaft with T-Case Yoke and Seal (part number ASDYJ-1310CVFC-S) is custom manufactured for the Jeep YJ Wrangler — front position. This kit includes both the CV driveshaft and the front transfer case yoke with seal, providing everything needed for a complete front driveline upgrade in one package. Compatible with tires up to 37 inches tall. Each driveshaft is built to order using a center-to-center measurement taken at ride height.
Why a CV Driveshaft for the YJ: The factory two-U-joint style front driveshaft on the YJ Wrangler typically causes vibration after a lift of 4 inches or more. This 1310 CV driveshaft corrects the driveline angles to eliminate that vibration.
Extreme Duty vs. Heavy Duty: This Extreme Duty Series uses solid non-greasable U-joints — the strongest U-joints Adams Driveshaft offers. The Heavy Duty Series (ASDYJ-1310CVFC-G) with greasable U-joints is also available and supports tires up to 35 inches. For tires larger than 35 inches the Extreme Duty Series is the correct choice.
Construction: Built from 2" × .120 wall DOM seamless tubing with a 7-inch long slip and stub. Solid non-greasable 1310 series U-joints sourced exclusively from Spicer and Neapco — two American manufacturers. Finished in gloss black show quality paint.
