Have your feed tubes been in service for some time? Might there be a chance that the extended hot cranking you've been experiencing is due to leakage at the feed tube/injector interface? Incorrect alignment at assembly, and relative micro movement in service can cause leak paths between the injector and tube that leads to rail pressure loss.
