This kit includes Mishimoto silicone boots with DuraCore technology and constant-tension T-bolt clamps for accurate and consistent holding power. Mishimoto DuraCore technology is the synthetic material that comprises the innermost layer of all Mishimoto silicone diesel boots. Compared to regular silicone, DuraCore provides superior resistance to heat, pressure, fuel, and oil. This effectively increases the life of our boots by preventing leaks and blowouts. This package is rounded out with the Mishimoto intercooler, featuring a significant increase in core volume, extremely durable cast aluminum end tanks, and a robust bar-and-plate core, all designed to provide cool, dense air to your engine. The application-specific DuraCore bootkit design allows for the installation of our performance bar-and-plate intercooler typically reserved for the 6.0L Powerstroke. The larger and more robust design is ideal for high-horsepower applications, with boost levels pushing well over the stock limits, and for use in the harshest conditions. Our kit also includes all necessary hardware for a secure installation of the intercooler to round out the conversion.
