ecoPLAS® is a manufacturing-ready biodegradable and compostable limestone (CaCO3) based compound with PLA that conforms to the FDA food contact safe (G.R.A.S.) specification (and many others) and is suitable for Thermoforming/Sheet, 3D printing and Injection Molding.

This material continues to sequester carbon dioxide for the life of an object. This material is certified compatible with Filabot extruders. Physically this material is stiffer than unfilled PLA, as the additional limestone creates more rigidity within the structure.
