FJ40/FJ60 Diff-Cut Spring-Over-Axle Perch Pair
SOA perch pair for 3.0" axles with 2.75" springs; includes 0° and 10° plates
This perch pair is built for spring-over-axle conversions on Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 and FJ60 housings with 3.0" axle tubes and 2.75" wide springs. It includes one standard perch, one diff-cut perch, and both 0° and 10° perch plates so you can match your steering and caster setup. Use the included plates to set spring angle based on your knuckle rotation and model for a clean, serviceable install.
The diff-side perch replaces the traditional near-differential U-bolt with two grade 8 side bolts to solve the common interference issue. Use the 0° plate on FJ40s with unrotated knuckles, and the 10° plate on FJ60s or FJ40s with rotated knuckles to hit your target caster. For easier alignment and clamping, we recommend slotted Toyota 2-3/4" spring plates during installation.

Note
Install the diff-cut perch on the differential side and the standard perch on the opposite side. Choose the 0° or 10° plate as outlined above, then tack, cycle the suspension to verify third member and fastener clearance, and weld fully. Re-check pinion/caster targets and all fastener torque after initial shakedown.
